Stravaigin meaning 'to wander' was started in 1994 to be the finest Traditional Scottish cuisine restaurant based in Glasgow. We try to ensure that all of our food is locally sourced meaning that this glasgow based restaurant stands by it's motto 'think global, eat local' making our traditional scottish cuisine second to none.
The menu from the restauant ranges from pear, pecan and strathdon blue cheese tart or shetland crab with sweet potato and chilli cake for starters to Roast aubergine and wild mushroom baklava, white bean, feta & black olive salad or Char-grilled Smitton’s farm rump steak, chunky chips, tomato & basil salad for your main course.
The wine selection at the restaurant is chosen by the staff at wine tastings held in the restaurant. Some wines stay on forever others change more frequently but they always compliment the food.
Feasting in the restaurant or grazing in the bar, warm Glaswegian hospitality and unparalleled service makes Stravaigin the place to eat in Glasgow.
